NCR Corp. to upgrade, maintain self-serve kiosks for global telecom provider

NCR Corp. will upgrade and maintain NCR self-serve bill payment kiosks for Ooredoo, a Doha, Qatar telecommunications provider under a 10-year contract.

NCR Digital Connected Services will help Ooredoo transform and maintain its mobile retail stores with 150 NCR SelfServ kiosks, where Ooredoo offers bill payment and prepaid services, as well as access to Ooredoo’s Nojoom Rewards Program. Ooredoo has a customer base of more than 100 million subscribers across the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, according to a press release.

"The new kiosks will drive customer adoption because the most complex transactions will become easy to perform," Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Ooredoo COO, said in the release. "They also offer the crucial, advanced security we need to give our customers peace of mind with every transaction."
