The National Automatic Merchandising Association is accepting nominations for its 2026 Coffee Legend of the Year Award, which honors individuals who have demonstrated at least a decade of leadership and contributions to the coffee services industry, according to a press release. Eligible nominees include coffee service operators, roasters, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, brokers and educators who are NAMA members.

NAMA President and CEO Christine Cochran said the award recognizes individuals whose work has advanced the coffee services sector through innovation, leadership and mentorship. Jim Carbone, vice president of operations and coffee experience at WithMe Inc. and the 2025 recipient, said the honor celebrates professionals whose dedication has helped move the industry forward.

Nominations must highlight a candidate's achievements, leadership and long-term impact on the profession and the broader convenience services industry. The nomination deadline is August 17. The recipient will be recognized during CTW, scheduled for November 18-19 in Austin, Texas. CTW, which originally stood for Coffee, Tea & Water, is NAMA's annual conference focused on workplace coffee, pantry services and workplace amenities.
