Bob Egan, founder and president of The Egan Group, says the deal with PSI represents an expansion of services for Mount Vernon Money Center:
I see the e-banking kiosk as another step on my journey with The Egan Group in the financial-services world. … The partnership will have a major impact on the kiosk and cash-dispensing business, coupling coupon advertising and remote-banking services in a cost-efficient price structure.
Mount Vernon Money Center, which services more than 8,000 ATMs for banks, credit unions, ISOs and retailers, will service Pantel's Cash Xpress e-banking kiosk — a configurable kiosk that is designed to offer a range of services, including digital advertising, coupon dispensing, ATM services, bill payment, on-demand gift card dispensing and cell phone top-up.
David Foni, chief executive of PSI, says the relationship will give Pantel more time to focus on its core competencies:
PSI Technologies will be able to expand rapidly, as The Egan Group (Mount Vernon Money Center) services will support the implementation of Pantel's Cash Xpress e-banking kiosk, allowing growth and market recognition to build business opportunities.
