More churches turn to kiosks for convenient giving

October 1, 2012

Church donation baskets could become extinct with the implementation of donation kiosks, according to a press release from tablet display company ArmorActive.

The Utah-based company announced that it has seen an increase in churches deploying kiosks to offer a more convenient means for parishioners to make donations.

"Setting up iPads in churches and non-profits is probably the newest trend we see at ArmorActive right now. We see three or four churches each day purchasing iPads and our cases to do anything from collecting donations to just using it as an event calendar," said Scott Paul, founder of ArmorActive, in the announcement.

The ArmorActive line of tablet kiosks include the Strata Swipe for Square and the Strata Swipe for iDynamo, with credit card swipe built in and customizable mobile payment application software like SecureGive, GivingFire and SimpleGive.
