SAN FRANCISCO -- MoodLogic Inc. announced that two of its international customers --www.SamtheRecordMan.comandwww.discoweb.com-- have implemented customized versions of its MoodLogic music browser on their music retail Web sites.
MoodLogic offers its browsing services to retailers seeking to boost music sales and customer retention by enabling shoppers to buy music based on their personal tastes and mood. The world's largest database of public perceptions about popular music powers the database, describing how consumers typically perceive more than 500,000 songs.
MoodLogic browsers can operate over the Web and through in-store kiosks. The browser will address a major challenge in today's music retailing industry: shoppers that leave off-line and online music stores without buying anything because they can't find new music that suits them.
