Money transfer company Xpress Money recently announced the launch of its own line of self-service kiosk for customers to make international money transfers at any time of the day, according to a press release.
In order to utilize the kiosk, users need to complete a registration process using a valid photo ID. Customers can then select the send amount, view exchange rates and register the individual or group they are sending the money to. From there, the customer receives a voucher which they can hand over to a cashier to complete the process.
"Digital platforms are changing the way we send and receive money, and we at Xpress Money realize that," said Sudhesh Giriyan, COO of Xpress Money in the release. "In today's fast paced life customers are always looking for an easier, more convenient option to send money to their loved ones; our kiosks will take convenience levels of money transfer a notch higher."
The first group of kiosks has been rolled out in several NightOwl locations, a convience store chain operating in Australia. Xpress Money plans to continue to expand its kiosk offering in the country, and eventually deploy kiosks in other countries.
