Two Mississippi welcome centers on I-10 have installed interactive kiosks to direct visitors to the more than 40 birding trails along the coast, according to an article on theWLOX 13 website.

"It has a listing of which of the trail sites you could possibly find a reddish egret," said Mozart Dedeaux, designer of the kiosk's website, in the article.

"These kiosks and this work represents two of the major things that I intend to implement. Technology and nature based tourism. So today is, for me, a gift quite frankly," said Malcolm White, head of the tourism division for the Mississippi Development Authority, in the article.

"We have a listing that tells them the best time to come and the most sought after species," said Dedeaux.

The kiosks also contain information about area restaurants, hotels and amenities, the article said.
