Meridian partners with Samsung SDS America on DOOH signage solutions

Kiosk and digital signage provider Meridian is teaming up with Samsung SDA America, a software and IT services company, to develop digital out-of-home signage solutions.

The solutions will display targeted ads for locations with a high volume of customer traffic, such as retail outlets and shopping centers, according to a press release.

"Meridian is excited to be partnering with Samsung SDSA on this project," Meridian CEO Chris Gilder said in the release. "Digital signage solutions are in high demand and are completely transforming the ways in which retailers and advertisers reach their desired customer base. Samsung and Meridian combine to bring best in class solutions that can be customized to fit the client's needs."

The signage will provide advertisers with media metrics and a comprehensive understanding of audience segments, as well as consumer movement patterns throughout the sales cycle, based on advertisement exposure.

"We are excited to team up with Meridian to provide media publishers and brands with intelligent digital signage that provides 'on the go' audiences with highly relevant and engaging information to positively impact sales and brand loyalty," Samsung SDSA CEO Scott Koosak said in the release.
