A merger in the European kiosk market has resulted in U.K.-based Retec Digital and Australia-based NeoProducts joining forces to provide better products and services, according to a joint press release from the two companies.
Retec Digital is involved in the development and supply of multimedia marketing solutions, with self-service and kiosk deployments including projects for Morrisons, Boots, Sainsbury's and Tesco. NeoProducts was founded in 1987 and is involved in the manufacture of interactive kiosks for self-service solutions, with clients including Jobcentres and Fuji Film, the announcement said.
Both companies will seek to expand their product range and increase research and development expenditure through joint collaboration.
"This is good news for customers of Retec and Neo as they will now be able to access the enhanced capability of the merged companies," said Graeme Derby, CEO of Retec Digital. "Each business is complementary, with Retec Digital bringing kiosk software expertise and a U.K. wide field service network; while NeoProducts brings its internationally renowned expertise in kiosk design and manufacture."
