Meet the BEETLEs

AUSTIN, Texas - Wincor Nixdorf has introduced a new kiosk solution that allows retail customers to find information within stores.

The new product is a member of Wincor Nixdorf's "BEETLE" family of retail technology products. It's a wall-mounted device that is available immediately to retailers. It includes a POS system unit, an Intel Celeron or Petnium III processor and a built-in sound system. It connects with standard Ethernet or RF.

Among the potential uses for the kiosks are delivery of sales promotions, special offers, and loyalty program updates. They use flat, bright touchscreen technology and a range of multimedia.

Wincor Nixdorf is based in Germany, and has its North American headquarters in Austin, Texas.
