McDonald's plans to add kiosks to its refurbished U.K. locations to allow customers to order from their tables. McDonald's is doing this as part of a program to revamp its image, according to a reportby The International Business Times.

The kiosks will be installed at tables, to allow customers to sit down, order their food and then have it brought out to them. McDonald's has tested the kiosks at 14 locations and has had positive results, according to the report.

"We opened 26 new restaurants last year and the rollout of our reimaging program is transforming the way we serve customers, and has been a key growth driver," said Paul Pomroy, chief executive of McDonald's U.K.. "To date, over 300 restaurants have been refurbished and we expect a further 350 to be completed and reopened for customers by the end of the year — an average of one every day."
