Now, select McDonald's customers will be able to create their own burgers with McDonald's new "Create Your Taste" self-service kiosks, according to a report by The Los Angeles Times.
Customers can use the touchscreen digital signage kiosks to order a beef patty for $4.99 or a burger with 1/3 pound of sirloin for $5.74. They can also use a variety of extras including bacon, buns, pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce wrap and others. Once a customer finishes the order, McDonald's will have the food ready anywhere between 8 to 10 minutes.
These kiosks are currently available at 18 McDonald's locations nationwide as part of a pilot program.
