Massachusetts town installs parking kiosks

December 21, 2018

The city of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, has begun installing solar-powered parking kiosks featuring electronic screens and a keypad where drivers will type in their license plate number to pay, according to a report by The Enterprise. The kiosks accept credit cards but not coins. A mobile payment app will also be introduced.

The paid parking program is scheduled to begin in mid-January. Representatives will be available for the first few days to assist people with the kiosks. Free parking will still be available in some parts of town.
