The Road Transport Department in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, will deploy a fleet of self-service kiosks beginning next year, enabling the public to check and pay traffic summonses without needing to go the Department's offices.
According to thestar.com.my, 51 locations throughout the city have been chosen for kiosk sites, mostly public environments like shopping malls.
"We hope with the kiosks in place, transactions such as to check and pay traffic summonses, as well as to renew road tax, will be made easier," said Department Deputy Director-General Datuk Ismail Ahmad.
