Malaysia highway concessionaire adds self-serve kiosks for reloadable payment cards

March 30, 2018

Plus, a highway concessionaire in Malaysia, has announced that motorists can now top up their PlusMiles or Touch ‘n Go retail payment cards at 32 self-service kiosks at selected rest and service areas and toll plazas, according to Paul Tan's Automotive News. The kiosks are located near ATMs and food courts at these locations.

Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi, chief operating officer for Plus, said the machines will not assess service charges to users who use the kiosks to reload their PlusMiles or Touch ‘n Go card. A reload transaction takes from 20 to 60 seconds, on average.
