LinkNYC introduces kiosks with 5G connectivity

LinkNYC kiosks, which provide free Wi-Fi calls and other digital services, will offer 5G connectivity, according to a notice on the city's website. The first such kiosk was introduced by Mayor Eric Adams along with Nick Colvin, LinkNYC CEO and Matthew Fraser, LinkNYC CTO.

The kiosk was installed in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx. Further installations will continue this summer.

Ninety-percent of the 5G kiosks will be in the Bronx, Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn and above 96th Street in Manhattan.
