Library kiosks with RFID offer self-serve for Mancunians

Libraries in Stockport, England, near Manchester, are the latest to install self-serve kiosks for patrons, according to the AboutMyArea guide.

The kiosks with radio-frequency identification (RFID) self-service technology have been installed in 11 libraries in the area. The kiosks were supplied by Stockport-based Intellident Ltd., a provider of RFID systems with offices in the United Kingdom, France and Netherlands.
