Library kiosk to serve Missouri residents

The Springfield-Greene County Library in Springfield, Missouri, will allow cardholders to check out books, CDs and DVDs at a newly installed kiosk, according to ozarksfirst.com. The Library Express West was recently installed at the Orchard Plaza and will be open for business on Feb. 6.

The district installed the kiosk in response to residents on the west side of town who wanted a more convenient library location.

The kiosk can hold around 340 items. Users will be able to place requests and pick up requested items at the kiosk.
