Pennsylvanians can already buy wine from grocery-store kiosks, but the state's Liquor Control Board announced Thursday that some of the kiosks will also stock hard liquor.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is working on a pilot program to decide which kiosks sell both wine and the hard stuff, according to Pennlive.com.
It will be several months before the liquor begins being sold, Stacey Witalec, spokeswoman for the board, said in the interview.
She said the option to also sell hard liquor in kiosks was discussed when the vending machine program was unveiled a year ago.
"The board is looking to bring exactly what customers are saying they want — convenience," Witalec said.
