Kiosks approve credit for Arkansas furniture stores

Customers of the Arkansas Homefurnishings Association will now be able to get in-store credit from kiosks.

August 20, 2015

Customers of the Arkansas Homefurnishings Association will now be able to get in-store credit from kiosks. The association has 500 retail members and associates. These kiosks, deployed by Versatile Credit, allow consumers to apply for credit from both primary and secondary lending sources, according to a press release.

When a consumer is denied primary credit, their application is automatically sent to secondary lenders which can reduce overall credit denial by up to 40 percent, according to the press release.

"Access to adequate consumer credit is vital to the success of our members," said Randy Lann, associate executive director, Arkansas Homefurnishings Association. "The Versatile Credit solution has proven to increase applications and approvals — both leading to increased revenue. This is the type of partner we want to make readily available to our members."

"We are excited to partner with The Arkansas Homefurnishings Association," said Kevin Lawrence, vice president of marketing and sales, Versatile Credit. "Versatile's Credit Cascade is the perfect solution for retailers interested in increasing credit applications, approvals and average ticket transaction amounts. Our self-service solution allows customers to apply for credit using a simple, secure and reliable touchscreen interface."
