New York - The KioskCom Retail Conference & Exhibition will be held October 23 to 25, 2001 at the San Diego Resort in San Diego, Calif. According to a news release issued by KioskCom, this year's agenda will include strategies to increase consumer purchases through the use of interactive in-store kiosks.
At the show, representatives from 7-Eleven, Blockbuster, RadioShack, Virgin Entertainment Group, WHSmith, Borders, Nissan North America and Whirlpool Corp. will speak about their experiences integrating customized kiosk programs in their stores, the release stated.
This month kiosk software maker NetShift announced it merged its own European trade show with KioskCom. Called KioskCom Europe 2001, it will be held at the Wembley Conference & Exhibition Centre, London, from November 5 to 7, 2001.
In April, Orlando, Fla.'s KioskCom hosted more than 1,300 kiosk professionals and a record 102 exhibitors.
