Kiosk will be used to sell decorative stone, tile

June 4, 2003

NEW YORK -- American Stone Inc., a manufacturing wholesaler of high-quality stone for commercial and private use, has selected CPath Solutions to market its new dealer showroom kiosk called The Workshop.

The kiosk is an innovation in the stone and tile industry developed to enhance customers' design experience and increase dealer sales, according to a news release. It can generate all possible custom-stone design options, allowing customers to visualize different design possibilities without physical samples. The first installations of American Stone's design kiosks are taking place in June 2003.

CPath's services included providing the dealer pricing structure, product positioning and sales education program; advising on the functionality of the kiosk software application; and developing the advertising campaign and tradeshow launch. The release did not name kiosk vendors, nor the price of the kiosk.

"We relied on CPath to develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our IT-based display kiosks, knowing that it would take careful planning and execution to impact an audience that has traditionally ignored IT as a sales tool," said Anthony Grasso, president of American Stone.
