Kiosk at Bloomingdale's supports victims of Orlando nightclub massacre

April 26, 2018

An interactive touchscreen kiosk for the OnePulse Foundation has been installed at Bloomingdale's at the Mall of Millennia in Orlando, Florida, for 30 days, according to a video on the Orlando Sentinel website.

The goal is to educate people about the foundation, said Barbara Poma, foundation president. Shoppers are invited to leave a message on the touchscreen. A sign below the kiosk reads, "We will not let hate win."

The foundation was established to create a "sanctuary of hope" around the date — Sept. 19, 2017 — when 49 people were killed and 68 injured in a mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, according to the foundation's website. The foundation supports grants to care for survivors of the shooting and the families of victims.
