Kiosk assists Verizon Wireless customers in Maine

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — A greeter kiosk and a bill payment kiosk are just a few of several features Verizon Wireless has incorporated into its new 6,000-square-foot wireless communications store in South Portland, Maine.
According to a news release, the greeter kiosk allows customers to check in once they enter the store and list their wireless needs so representatives can quickly assist them.
A bill payment kiosk allows customers to make account payments quickly and easily using checks, cash or credit/debit cards.
The store is designed to offer consumers a high-tech and hands-on experience with wireless voice, data, music and video services. A number of innovative systems and operational enhancements are designed to streamline the sales process and enhance customer experience.
