Kinko's selects Mosaic transaction software

September 8, 2003

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Mosaic Software, global transaction processing solutions provider, announced that Kinko's Inc. has selected its Postilion EFT software solution for authorization of credit and signature debit card transactions initiated in its stores.

Postilion will be used as the corporate payments gateway for routing and switching transactions directly to the networks and card issuers, according to a news release. It will provide stand-in authorizations at both store and corporate levels.

"By implementing Postilion as the corporate payments gateway, the need to route transactions from each store to the EFT network via dial-up will be eliminated," said Peter Barker, vice president, corporate and information systems at Kinko's.

"The consolidation of all transactions at the corporate level will reduce communications and network transaction costs; speed settlement, reconciliation and funds availability; provide better control and consolidate management reporting - all translating into better service for our customers."

Postilion is a multi-channel EFT platform, based on Microsoft Windows 2000. It provides the scalability and flexibility to efficiently and cost-effectively address all of Kinko's enterprise-wide transaction authorization requirements, the release said.
