The minuteKEY company, which makes the eponymous minuteKEY self-service key-copying kiosks, announced that it has raised an additional $10 million in funding, according to an article on the dailycamera.com citing a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The latest financial boost for the Boulder, Colo.-based company comes a year after it raised $10.6 million in growth equity, allowing the business to expand from 100 to 1,200 kiosks across the country. The kiosks are located in stores such as Lowes, Walmart and Fry's Electronics, the article reported.
"We substantially rolled out Lowe's in the last year," said Randy Fagundo, minuteKEY's CEO. "(Lowe's and other pilot retailers) certainly are very pleased with the program and the results that they've seen to date, as are we."
