KeyMe, a kiosk developer, will be installing their key copy kiosks in Lowe’s this year. These kiosks stay true to their name by allowing users to insert their keys and make duplicates.

However, the KeyMe kiosks also offer another mobile tool which allows users to take a picture of their key using KeyMe’s app. With this picture, the customers can order a duplicate key through the mail.

KeyMe kiosks can also be found at 7-Eleven stations in New York. Other companies such as MinuteKey have installed their own key copy kiosks at retail locations such as Walmart.

KeyMe's first deployment of kiosks will be available in Lowe’s stores in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio.
