JCM Global bill validation solutions power currency exchange kiosk in Belarus

ASB Belarusbank, a financial institution in Belarus, provides a new self-service currency exchange service by IBA Minsk powered by bill validation services from JCM Global, according to a press release.

The kiosk operates in a self-service zone in a branch office in Minsk. Transactions are powered by JCM’s iVIZION HC bill validator. The exchange terminal provides the bank’s clients with currency exchange operations 24 hours a day, and customers can exchange U.S. dollars, euros and Russian rubles. 

The bill validator combines a more than 99 percent acceptance rate with the contact image sensor technology that sees the entire front and back of a note or ticket, along with anti-stringing technology to provide better security, according to the release.
