Inmates at California's Lerdo Correctional Facility have what could be the first kiosk in the state to offer child support counseling, according toabc23.

The kiosk came out of a partnership between Bakersfield, Calif.'s Kern County Department of Child Support Services and the Kern County Sheriff's Office. Incarcerated parents can use the kiosk to receive guidance and resources on child support issues. The partnership hopes the kiosk will help offenders find jobs and reduce barriers to payment compliance.
