Irish government set to consider ban on cigarette vending machines

The sale of cigarettes from Ireland’s 7,000 cigarette vending machines could be banned under legislation proposed by Irish Health Minister James Reilly and approved by the Cabinet, reports the Irish Independent.

The primary purpose focus of the proposed bill is to limit sale of smoking products, including e-cigarettes, to young people, according to the paper.
