Vancouver, British Columbia-based InTouch Technology has launched an iPad version of its self-service Welcome Kiosk that allows health clubs to capture customer lead information on an iPad.
Instead of writing down contact information on paper that could be illegible or inaccurate or could get lost, customers enter their contact details onto the iPad-based InTouch Welcome Kiosk.
The information then flows into the InTouch Follow-Up application, ensuring follow-up communications are scheduled for all walk-in leads, InTouch Technology said. The system enables health clubs to streamline their front desk process and engage guests even during busy times, according to the company.
InTouch Technology said it provides sales and retention software to more than 900 health clubs. "If health clubs aren't capturing lead details accurately or not even capturing those leads at all, they can't effectively follow-up and sell to them," Dag Lee, chairman of InTouch Technology's board of directors, said in a statement.
InTouch Technology launched the Android tablet version of its first Welcome Kiosk in November 2012. The company said the kiosk received an overwhelming response from customers as clubs noticed that leads were not getting missed and sales statistics were becoming more accurate.
The company said it then developed the iPad version of the kiosk in response to customers who wanted to use existing iPads; now customers can supply their own iPad and contact InTouch Technology to get their Welcome Kiosk up and running.
