Digital information kiosks throughout Staten Island and Whitehall Ferry terminals will soon be guiding tourists, according to silive.com.
The kiosks will be part of a marketing push to get people to spend time in the area on restaurants, retailers, cultural institutions and other small businesses in the community, said Travis Noyes, chief marketing officer for the New York Wheel and Empire Outlets..
The exact timing of the kiosk installations, cost and the number have yet to be determined, said Tiffany Townsend, a New York Wheel spokeswoman. The kiosks would be purely informational; people won't be able to purchase admission tickets from them.
