Indianapolis airport deploys solar farm education kiosk

Indianapolis International Airport deployed an interactive kiosk as part of a project with IND Solar Farm partners Johnson Melloh Solutions and Telamon Corp.

Indianapolis International Airport has deployed an interactive kiosk as part of a project with IND Solar Farm partners Johnson Melloh Solutions and Telamon Corp., according to an announcement.

Located in the baggage claim area, the kiosk serves as an educational tool for airport visitors to learn more about IND Solar Farm, an airport-based solar farm. The kiosk allows users to watch a time-lapse video of construction, learn how solar works, explore farm statistics and more.

The second phase of the IND Solar Farm, approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2014.
