COIMBATORE, India -- Crocodile Products Private, a clothing manufacturer and retailer with 44 gallery outlets throughout India, has unveiled plans to add kiosks to its stores as a new revenue source.
The company decided to deploy the kiosks after testing kiosks at retail locations in two Indian cities -- Coimbatore and Chennai. The kiosks will offer access to the company's online catalog and could be expanded to include financial and insurance products.
"The e-kiosk will help the customer to browse through the company's electronic product catalog through a touchscreen facility," Crocodile Managing Director V. Sivaraman told India's Economic Times. He said that project details are still being worked out.
