Independence, Iowa kiosk offers visitors area tourist info

The Independence (Iowa) Area Chamber of Commerce has installed a visitor information kiosk developed by local graphic design and marketing firm Fusion Forward LLC, according to a Fusion press release.

The kiosk is designed to offer information for out-of-town guests attending events at the Independence Jr./Sr. High School, where it is installed. Its 24-inch LED touchscreen features dining, entertainment, local shopping and lodging options. Visitors can navigate the kiosk to find operating hours, addresses and phone numbers of area establishments as well as scan QR codes on their smartphones to receive directions.
