Home Depot Canada plans interactive shows

September 24, 2003

TORONTO -- Dmg world media, an international exhibition and publishing company, announced that it has reached a seven-figure partnership agreement with Home Depot Canada to produce 16 home shows across Canada.

"Our shows offer an interactive consumer shopping environment for attendees to gather information on new ideas for renovating, designing and decorating their homes," said Carol Bell, vice president of home shows, North America, for dmg world media.

"We continually look for more interactive ways to communicate directly to our customers," said Pat Wilkinson, director of marketing for the Home Depot Canada. "Our presence at these Home Shows allows us to inspire our customers right from the planning stage of their project. The interactive booth design gives our associates the opportunity to showcase the depth and breadth of our product selection in the latest styles and trends."

The booth features four vignettes of a bathroom, kitchen, workshop and deck that highlight product selections that visitors can create in their own homes. Each vignette will be complemented by a freestanding kiosk that will offer visitors additional product information.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to find their color inspiration for any room in their home through the Colour Solution Centre computer kiosk.
