Hitachi Europe selects Stampede as distributor

Hitachi Europe has selected Stampede Europe to serve as the distributor for its ProAV display products in the U.K. Stampede will begin by distributing Hitachi's interactive large-format display panels and its 2,500 to 13,000 ANSI lumens projectors, according to a press release.

Specific Hitachi Europe solutions to be offered by Stampede Europe include:

•  65-, 75- and 84-inch interactive flat panels; and
• a 3,500 lumen LED projector using High Lumen Density technology.

Hitachi Ltd., the parent company of Hitachi Europe, has already worked with Stampede in the U.S. and has seen positive results, according to Kevin Kelly, CEO and president of Stampede.

"Hitachi Europe's premier line of projectors and large-format flat panel displays will significantly enhance our portfolio and provide our U.K. integrators and resellers with access to top-of-the-line display technology for customers in every one of their vertical markets," Kelly said in the release. "I don't think that many U.K.-based dealers are aware of the full portfolio we offer. We intend to change that."
