SKANEATELES FALLS, N.Y. -- HHP has added a new generation of kiosk to its Transaction Team family of products, the Image Kiosk 8870 for in-store data collection.
Powered by HHP's Adaptus Imaging Technology, the Image Kiosk 8870 creates a new class of interactive customer device, according to a news release. The product allows retail customers to easily access online catalogs and frequent-shopper accounts, as well as receive targeted coupons and special offers.
"The Image Kiosk 8870 gives you the power and performance of bulkier kiosks at a fraction of the cost," said Nick Daddabbo, HHP retail product marketing manager. "And it is designed to grow as your application needs increase." The company did not list pricing in the release.
The kiosk's small footprint enhances transactions while saving critical floor space. Store employees and consumers can easily use the integrated bar code imager, the release said. The color display promotes eye-catching messages and graphics.
Touchscreen capabilities makes it easier for the customer to perform transactions. The touchscreen is protected by HHP' s patented, replaceable screen protection that limits wear and blocks intrusion of water and dust.
Daddabbo said the kiosk comes standard with features such as USB, 10/100 Ethernet, 16MB Flash and 32MB of RAM.
