Healthy vending kiosk meets NAMA health standards

HealthyYou Vending has announced that it now meets the National Automatic Merchandising Association's FitPick standards. FitPick was intorudced in 2005 as an initiative to identify and applaud companies whose vending kiosks offer healthier snacks.

The NAMA has approved 665 products as meeting the requirements of FitPick and FitPick Select; HealthyYou Vending currently offers FitPick and FitPick Select options for their vending products.

Snack Smart Healthy Vending, operator of HealthyYou Vending, has deployed 49 healthy vending machines in Tennessee and Kentucky, including one at the Fort Campbell army installation. Fort Campbell entered into a partnership with the business as part of an initiative to get rid of unhealthy snacks, according to the release.
