Healthnotes releases Version 7.5 for UK

PORTLAND, Ore. - Healthnotes Inc., creator of easy-to-use health and lifestyle information kiosks, released the UK edition of Version 7.5 of its Healthnotes suite of applications on Dec. 10, according to a company news release.

Version 7.5 was released in the U.S. last September.

More than 300 supermarkets, pharmacies and health food stores in the UK use the Healthnotes touchscreen applications and Web content to inform customers about health, lifestyle and self-care options.

The newest version for touchscreen kiosks features the same new and expanded content released in the U.S., including a category management report. The report gives retailers in-depth information on shopper's interests and product needs by tracking customer usage.

The suite has five department-specific applications for placement throughout the store. Each application has buttons customized to each department, but includes access to the main menu.

The version has more than 100 new and updated articles, and a new search feature allowing users to find recipes by main ingredient.

Price for the new version depends on the quantity of content subscriptions retailers buy.
