Grow Healthy Vending has announced it has deployed its vending kiosks in 127 locations. The company has focused specifically on providing healthy snacks to schools and army bases, according to a press release.
Grow Healthy has been working to offer items that meet the criteria of the Smart Snacks in School program. The program, enacted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, regulates the nutritional value of snacks in vending machines.
The company has deployed its kiosks in locations that include Strayer University in Herndon, Virginia, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Newport Beach, California-based Palace Entertainment, at selected Army and Air Force bases, and at a number of schools.
"These record numbers are a great indicator of the commitment we have shown Grow operators and our ability to secure premium locations," said Chris Wyland, founder and CEO of Grow Healthy. "As we further concentrate our efforts on national contract location programs we will continue to see these numbers increase."
