Habit Restaurants to develop kiosk ordering system

Habit Restaurants Inc. in Irvine, California, will develop a kiosk ordering system and digital mobile app and test breakfast menu items, according to the Orange County Register.

Russ Bendel, the company’s chief executive, told analysts the burger chain will develop a self-ordering kiosk to promote speed of service and alleviate cashier labor. The company will also develop a mobile app to allow customers to skip the line and place orders from mobile phones or tablets.
