Roswell, Georgia, will install smart parking kiosks in 38 spaces in the downtown historic district, according to an Atlanta Journal Constitution report. The kiosks will be installed on Elizabeth Way and Canton Street.
The city council approved the measure, which will cost $8,100 for installations and an estimated $720 annually for cellular connectivity. Drivers using the kiosks will not have to pay a 35 cents per use convenience fee for using the Park Mobile app.
The council set parking fees which take effect Oct. 1. Handicapped spaces will still be free.
