FUJIFILM North America introduced the instax SPOT, a next-generation photobooth and print station designed to turn on-site experiences into physical keepsakes. Positioned as a turnkey solution for high-traffic venues such as movie theaters, museums and amusement parks, the unit is intended to create a dedicated engagement point where guests can capture and print instant photos as souvenirs.

The system is available in both tabletop and freestanding formats and is built to function as a dual-purpose platform. It combines a modernized photobooth experience featuring augmented reality (AR) effects with a wireless print station that allows users to print images directly from their smartphones via QR code. The goal is to bridge digital content with physical output, giving consumers multiple ways to interact with the device.

Beyond basic photo capture, instax SPOT includes built-in features aimed at increasing engagement and customization. These include AR overlays with animated and 3D elements, venue-specific branding options such as custom borders and stickers, and integrated LED lighting designed to enhance image quality. The system is positioned as a low-maintenance installation that can convert underutilized space into a social and experiential hub.

The units will support both instax mini and instax SQUARE film formats, offering flexibility for operators and venues. FUJIFILM expects the instax SPOT to be commercially available in September 2026, targeting businesses looking to add experiential retail and branded photo opportunities to their locations.
