Free redbox iPhone app exceeds 1 million downloads

DVD-rental kiosk pillar redbox this week surpassed one million iPhone application downloads, less than four months after the free iPhone app from redbox launched on the iPhone App Store.
The iPhone app from redbox gives iPhone users the ability to find the nearest location, search for a title, and reserve a movie at any kiosk nationwide from the convenience of their iPhone.
"From road warriors to moms on the run, the iPhone app from redbox helps our customers rent and reserve at any of our thousands of neighborhood locations nationwide," said Gary Cohen, senior vice president, marketing and customer experience, redbox. "Now, movie lovers can enjoy the convenience of redbox at the kiosk, online and via their iPhone."
