The city of Fort Pierce, Florida, will soon have interactive kiosks and light poles downtown that will offer free Wi-Fi and allow residents to access information about restaurants and other downtown attractions, including Google Maps for directions, according to a tcpalm.com report.

The Redevelopemnt Agency approved $250,000 to cover the cost of four kiosks and four light poles.

The devices will generate revenue from local and national advertising, and are expected to bring in $80,000 to $160,000 in the first three years.
