Kissimmee, Florida, police are attempting to make it easier for citizens to spot criminals with informational kiosks that will display wanted notices, according to a report by WFTV. The city plans to place 10 kiosks throughout the city, with the first planned for the city's community outreach post at Plaza del Sol.

The kiosks will display updated information on current fugitives in an attempt to reduce crime, according to the report. Kissimmee officials hope to have the same success as Marion County, Florida, which deployed kiosks last year and caught 32 criminals.

The Kissimmee Police Department plans to keep three of the kiosks in reserve to be moved around in areas where the department spots trends. "When we were having that rash of the drop-box burglaries, we could put them in the apartment communities to warn the residents as well," police department spokeswoman Stacie Miller said in the report.

If approved by the city, the kiosks will cost $37,000, which police believe will pay for itself with the money seized from criminal activity.
