Flix Kiosks, Signifi market DVD rental to vending industry

The DVD rental kiosk manufacturers Flix Kiosk Co. and Signifi have partnered to target the vending and amusement companies seeking to enter the DVD-rental market, according to Vending Times.

Schaumburg, Ill.-based Flix says the idea is to bridge the gap between the kiosk and vending industries, which use similar technology but different suppliers.

Flix Kiosk's DVD kiosks are fabricated by Grand Products of Des Plaines, Ill., while Signifi provides the software, which includes Esprida's remote management platform for real-time reporting and advanced analytics, products used in the digital signage and kiosk industries. A digital signage management system controls the dedicated advertising LCD screen.
