ALLOA, Scotland - Pleased with the results of a previous marketing agreement, Scottish kiosk manufacturer ePOINT Ltd. has signed a second phase supply agreement with Gretag Imaging to market ePOINT's Digital Photo Station kiosks.
Under the agreement, Gretag will continue to market the kiosk as it is rolled out in the North American and European markets.
The Digital Photo Station allows retail customers to display and enhance photos from their digital camera, then order prints through the kiosk.
ePOINT expects traditional photography companies, such as equipment and film manufacturers, to be part of the customer base for the Digital Photo Station, along with such retail outlets as coffee houses and fast-food chains.
In related news, ePOINT announced that Graeme Williams, former European vice president for Gretag's subsidiary Telepix, has joined the company. Williams will focus on the strategic development of ePOINT's digital imaging sales initiatives.
