Six kiosks have been installed in downtown Minneapolis to provide information about the local transit system and other nearby resources, according to a WCCO News report.
The kiosks are called IKE, or interactive kiosk experience, and they are large touch screen towers that allow citizens to search for nearby resources like restaurants, businesses, bathrooms, events and more. The kiosk also helps map the city's bus routes and light rail train routes.
Downtown Improvement District told the news outlet that the city plans to have 20 kiosks installed across busy downtown areas by the end of the summer.
